Gertrude “mawmaw ” Wagner

Gertrude “mawmaw ” Wagner was a beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, and grandmother, during her incredible 90 years of life. She passed away peacefully in her home, on September 12, 2024

She was married to the love of her life William Wagner for 57 years . She had 5 boys, numerous grandkids, great grand kids and great great grandkids of whom she loved greatly.

She could often be found outside working in her yard, cooking, baking, watching her stories, or cheering on her beloved LSU.

We will always remember maw maw for her boundless love, her spunkiness, and her endearing stubbornness. Because if you knew maw maw… well you knew stubborn was her middle name.

She adored us, her grandchildren. You couldn’t spend a minute with her without her telling you how much she loved you, how beautiful she thought we were, and  how proud she was to be our grandmother.

Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, Livingston on Thursday, September 19, 2024 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm. Visitation on Friday will resume at 9:00am. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am. Burial will follow in Gateway Gardens Memorial Park.

We will miss mawmaw dearly, but we are so grateful for the time we had to spend with her. We will always feel her presence in our hearts.
