Julie Marie Brisco- Butters, age 47, of Denham Springs, Louisiana, passed away on September 13th, 2024, peacefully at home, after a long battle of throat cancer.
Julie was born on December 6th, 1976, to Sydney Brisco and Linda Dukes – Brisco in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. In 1993, Julie met Victor Palmer in Denham Springs, Louisiana. Julie and Victor went on to have two children, Linda and Landa Brisco. Few years after they both went their separate ways, Julie met her husband, Bejay Butters, in 2002. Julie and Bejay got married later on in 2004, they remained together for 21 years before she was called home to the Lord. In 2010, Julie retired from doing construction and she spent her time being a stay at home mother. Julie loved to read, write, draw, dance, sing, ride motorcycles, shoot pool, go to the beach, and spend time with family and friends.
Julie was predeceased by her father, Sydney Brisco, aunt Shirley Dukes Long, grandson Bentley Butters, and niece Jade Smith.
She is survived by her husband, Bejay Butters, daughters Linda Brisco and Landa Brisco, stepchildren Derek Butters and Tejay Butters, Mother Linda Brisco, siblings Sydney Brisco, Steven Brisco, Rubin Brisco, Nena Brisco, grandchildren Audrey Switzer, Cash McKay, and many nieces and nephews, as well as her son-in-law Dylan Craig.
Services will be held at Seale Funeral Home located in Denham Springs, Louisiana, with visitation starting at 10am, service at 12pm, with burial to follow at Denham Springs Memorial Cemetery on Saturday, September 21st, 2024.

I hate seeing this. I just talked to you and Beejay at the pharmacy and then I just talked to you on IG. I had no idea until I was scrolling. You were one of the strongest, bravest fighter. You fault so hard to the end. You’re at peace and no more pain now. I pray your family can find peace and comfort.
