Marian Martin Ballard

Marian Martin Ballard, born April 28, 1936 in Centerville, Louisiana, passed away Sunday, September 29, 2024. 

She was a long time member of Blackwater United Methodist Church. Marian was a mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Harold G. Ballard; parents, Agnes Toups Martin and Clifford Martin Sr; brothers, Darrel Martin, Clifford Martin Jr., Camille Martin, and sister, Bobby Martin Comeaux. 

She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Territo; son, Doug (Margie) Ballard; grandchildren, Josh (Megan) Ballard, Heather (Scott) Padgett and Brittany B. Mathews; great-grand children Gabriel and Kate Ballard, and Maddie, Charlotte and Benny Padgett; brother, Kippy (Julia) Martin; sister-in-law, Carolyn Martin; brother-in-law, Jerry Comeaux; in-laws, Peggy Martin, Gail and Eugene Baham, Brenda and John Shilling, Edna Ballard, Jerrell and Gloria Ballard, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Blackwater United Methodist Church, on Friday, October 4th, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with service immediately following. Burial will follow at Loranger Community Cemetery in Loranger, LA following reception in the fellowship hall.
