October 15, 2024by SealeUser21

Billie Frances Hayman, 67, of Greensburg, LA, went to be with her Lord on Friday, October 11, 2024. She found the most joy in her sons, grandsons, family and her home, along with her incredible love of her gardens. She was a loving and devoted wife to her beloved husband of over 40 years, McClendon James Hayman, until he went to be with his Lord in 2019. Billie loved to use her home as a way to serve her Lord. She graciously used her creativity, fun personality, and her passion for hosting and serving people at her Greensburg farmhouse. Whether a small gathering, birthday party, or a wedding Billie transformed her home into a warm, beautiful place of love. She is survived by her mother, Loretta Richard Rice; sons, Brandon James Hayman (Rhea) and Jarrett Frank Hayman (Melissa); sister, Patricia Aline Wyles (David); grandchildren, Aidan Owens and Ewan Hayman and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her father, Billy Frank Rice; husband, McClendon James Hayman; sisters, Amy Rice and Diana Bobrycki; maternal grandparents, O.O. Rice and Minnie Rice. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Amite. Billie loved gardening, her antiques, event planner and loved crafting. She loved her flowers, but if you wish to make a memorial donation, please make it to Samaritan’s Purse, P.O. Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607. Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, on Thursday, October 17, starting at 1 PM. The religious service will start a 4 PM and will be led by Pastor Steven Miller, from her church home Friendship Baptist Church in Amite, LA.  Following the service, the burial will take place at the Greensburg cemetery. Billie’s presence will be deeply missed by all who loved and knew her. Please sign our online registry book.

I’ve never had the pleasure to meet Billie in person, but I feel that I’ve known her through her Facebook page. I feel that we’ve all lost a good friend in this terrible tragedy and will miss hearing from her in her posts. My condolences to Billie’s family and all good friends.

Birth and Death are similar, both are a portal to another dimension of God’s creation. Amy , Diana and Billie are together again in spirit. Pease / Love / Joy for eternity ❤️

Billie is one of the most beautiful soul generous and so loving!!! I don’t know what I would have done without her kindness to me and my family. She truly uplifted my heart and gave me hope. We went through a horrible time and she was kind when no one else cared. I love my sweet sister in Jesus and I will miss her greatly here…but look forward to seeing her again. God bless her wonderful family!!!!

My heart is so broken for you all. Billie was a beautiful woman of God full of joy. I have recounted the times we spent together in Sunday school and other events with her and James. I will recall these times during our great loss to ease the suffering.

I pray that God will give you all a peace that surpasses all understanding!

Ms. Loretta was one of the reasons I wanted to become a Godly woman as I sat through her Sunday School and social gatherings with Ms Goutreaux. Her class took me in and love on me and I will never forget that.

I love you all and I am at the throne of God along with others praying for God to ease and comfort you!

    Love,
    Milly Goutreaux- Westberry

I met Billie about 7 years ago she and her husband James(bubba) came by my home to pick up something from me! We had a great fellowship that day talking about the Lord our love of flowers and garden art. Bubba and I talked I invited them and shared homemade cake with them.we shared many messages. She blessed me with her fist book. I always treasure that. She was like a sister to me! I will miss her. But I know I will see her again in Heaven! Praying for her family for the comfort and peace only Jesus can give.😍😍🙏🙏🙏!!

I never was never fortunate enough to meet Billie in person but have followed her over the years on both of her pages . Her sweet kind heart and personality made you feel like she was your best friend. We spoke through private messages occasionally regarding flowers etc. I looked forward every day to to her good morning posts she could lift my spirits no matter what kind of day I was having she always had such a positive outlook on life . She is already missed so much by all who knew her even if it was just online and will never be forgotten. My prayers continue to be with her friends ,family her children, and especially her mom Ms Loretta. And my heart hurts for her sister Aline whom was so much more than a sister to her she was her confidant and best friend may she find comfort in knowing that Billie is strolling hand in hand with her Bubba in the most beautiful garden ever. Rest high on that mountain Billie as your work on earth is done.
