Richard Wayne Dietrich, 56, passed on October 5, 2024. He was born on July 14, 1968 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to his parents Iva Green and Donald Dietrich. After graduating from high school, Richard worked as a plant worker in the field of construction. He enjoyed spending his free time going to Talladega to watching racing.
He is survived by his mother Iva Green, daughters Tessa Marie and Brandi Marie Dietrich, son Connor Wayne Dietrich, and 2 wonderful people who loved Richard like their son Buddy and Barbara Matherne.
He is preceded in death by his wife Catherine Dietrich, grandparents Donald and Joyce Dietrich, grandparents James and Louise Boyett, and stepfather Norris Green.
There will be a service announced at a later date.

Oh gosh, I just heard about this and hurts my heart. He was my first boyfriend in kindergarten and had kept in touch every so often. My condolences to all of the family. Haven’t spoke with Richard in a few years, but gosh, he we had some laughs. I wish I could’ve known how he was doing before this. You just think they will always be there. Again, I am so sorry for your loss.
