Howard Dudley Efferson
Howard Dudley Efferson, a faithful follower of Christ, from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, passed away Friday, November 1, 2024 at the age of 72.
Howard was a husband, father, and grandfather who was loving, gentle, kind and loyal. He displayed constant humility in the way he lived his life. Each person who met him loved his
gentle personality. He was a long-time member of Greenwell Springs Baptist Church in which he was honored to serve as a lighting technician. He enjoyed going on mission trips
to Tennessee with his church as they helped a Baptist Youth Camp (Camp Ba-Yo-Ca) with construction and maintenance in the Wears Valley area. He was blessed to visit Israel
which enriched his love for the Bible. He was a long-time employee of 28 years as a packaging technician who retired from Syngenta in 2008. He also served as a volunteer at
Judson Baptist Association Seaman Center Ministry serving the merchant marines that came into the Mississippi River port. He will be missed by all those who have known him.
