Aline Elizabeth Alford passed away on November 13, 2024. She was a resident at Flannery Oaks nursing home, where she had been battling dementia. She was born on March 3, 1936 in Baton Rouge, where she resided most of her life. Aline was a retired teacher. After retirement, she could be found helping her son Ken Buhler with his auction business.
She is preceded in death by her father Alton Everette Alford, mother Katherine Maude Alford, sister Carey Lane Alford, brother Alton Everette Alford Jr., and son Kenneth Karl Buhler.
She is survived by her son Alton Buhler and wife Tammy, grandchildren Leah Buhler Cole, Jake Buhler, Hannah Buhler Newman, Haley Logue, Wyatt Buhler, and many great-grandchildren.
The family gives a special thanks to the staff of Flannery Oaks and Life Source hospice for their care and compassion during this time.

I am so sorry to know that Aline has passed. I am her friend from Nutley, NJ. We had a lot of really good times together and I did meet a lot of her family. We had a few vacations together and they were so enjoyable. Time and aging really do change things.
