Matthew Bryan O’Banion, a resident of Baton Rouge, born on January 9, 1974, died at home on November 14, 2024, after a battle with cancer. He was preceded in death by his brother, Christopher O’Banion, and his grandparents, Leaford and Clemie O’Banion, and Charles Logan and Velma LouisePropes. His humor will live on in the stories his family and friends tell. He was an avid collector of many interesting things. His favorite jobs were with the Secretary of State’s office and, especially, with the WBR Sheriff’s office.
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 19, from 10 am to 1 pm, with a service at 1 pm, at Seale Funeral Home, 1720 Range Avenue, Denham Springs, LA 70726. In lieu of flowers, you may wish to contribute to The Hospice of Baton Rouge (hospicebr.org) who took great care of Matt in his final months.
