Gerald Eugene Woodward
Gerald lost his battle with Small Cell Lung Cancer and passed away Monday, December 2, 2024, in his sleep at his sister’s home in Baton Rouge at age 64. Gerald was a native of Baton Rouge and a long-time resident of Denham Springs. He was a sweet, caring person and will be missed by his two brothers and two sisters.
He was survived by sisters, Linda Woodward Hill and husband, Gene, and Deborah Woodward Marland and husband Mike; brothers, Kenny and wife Terry, and Roger and wife Diane; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Gerald was a hardworking Brick Laborer/Brick Layer and worked for Steve Hebert Masonry for 30 years. Gerald was preceded in death by both parents James D. Woodward and Estelle Chisholm Woodward, Grandmother Ethel Day LeBlanc, Brothers Gary Woodward and Daryll Woodward.
Gerald’s favorite hobby was fishing and eating crawfish!! Gerald had a green thumb and enjoyed helping his sister in the yard.
