Elaine Greer Hester of Denham Springs, Louisiana went to live with her Lord and Savior on December 9, 2024, at the age of 82. She was well loved by all who knew her.
Elaine is survived by her spouse Edward Brister, son Waymon Sherel Hester, Jr. (Patsy), grandson Shane Hester (Mystery), great granddaughters Emerald, Cheyenne, and Felicity Hester, sisters Joanne Covington, Faye Greer and Brenda Hall, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Elaine was a seamstress and enjoyed working with her sisters in the “work room” for many years. She spent the last several years giggling at her sweet great granddaughters that she lovingly called her “little honeys”. She was most concerned about making sure all of her loved ones knew Jesus and would dance on the streets of gold with her one day.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, and the love of her life, Waymon Sherel Hester, Sr., brothers Jimmy and E.L. Greer, sister Janet Alleman, parents Onie Sue, and Evans Greer.
Visitation will take place on December 13, 2024 at 10am and last until 12pm at Seale Funeral Home, located at 1720 S. Range Ave. Denham Springs, La 70726. Funeral service will begin at 12pm in the South Chapel. Burial will follow immediately after at Denham Springs Memorial Cemetery.
