Adrian Lee Temple 1942-2024

Adrian Lee Temple, age 82, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2024, in Denham Springs, LA. Born on May 10, 1942, in Gloster, MS., Adrian led a life marked by devotion to his family, his country, and his faith.

Adrian‘s commitment to Service was evident early on when he joined the Air Force in 1963. During his tenure until 1967, he was stationed in Albuquerque, NM and later overseas in England, where he played a crucial role in operations handling the printing of confidential war documents, a testament to his trustworthiness and dedication.

After his honorable discharge, Adrian returned to the United States and soon began working for Louisiana State University. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish Temple Printing. After about a decade or so, he went to work for Moran Printing. Later, he joined International Paper as a sales representative, a role he held until his retirement, excelling in the distribution of printing paper, supplies, and equipment.

Adrian was a devout member of the Church of God of Prophecy Tanglewood, where he served as a deacon and was a member of the worship team. His faith was a cornerstone of his life, influencing his love for singing, playing the guitar, and his involvement in church activities.

His hobbies included gardening, cooking for his family, and for large holiday gatherings, including crawfish boils, and traveling – memorable cruises to Alaska, and the Caribbean were among his favorite experiences. Above all, he cherished spending time with his family.

Adrian is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Linda Temple; sons, Johnny Temple and wife, Donna, Joey Temple and wife, Margaret; brother Wayne Temple and wife, Charlotte; sisters, June Dupuy and husband, Leroy; Linda Moulder, and husband, Jim; Billie Stein and husband Bruce and Wanda Morrow. He is also survived by five grandchildren Chrystal Robison, Brandon, Ryan, Justin and Madison Temple; and five great grandchildren, with another on the way.

He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Elijah Temple and stepmother, Dorothy Turpin Temple, mother, Edwina Sterling Temple, brother Larry Temple, sisters, Darlene Temple and Sandra Temple and brother-in-law Brad Morrow.

Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs, Saturday, December 28, from 9 a.m. until service at 11 a.m. Burial will take place at Mary Springs Church of God of Prophecy, Gloster, MS at 3 p.m with Air Force Military Honors.
