Booth, ann
Ann Booth, age 72, went to her Heavenly Home on January 10, 2025.
Ann was above all else her family’s heart. Lovingly married to her husband, Rev. Terry Booth, for 51 wonderful years, they had decades ministering to those with love. Ann also loved doting on her 3 daughters, 5 granddaughters, 1 grandson and 1 great-grandson. Family was, to Ann, the pinnacle of who she was. Most important in Ann’s life was her faith in God and how to share his love with everyone she came in contact with. Whether she was rocking babies in the nursery, leading a young adult bible study, working with the senior adults, or spearheading the Easter Drama and Judgment House, she was always sharing God’s love. Ann has left a legacy of unwavering love to so many in our community.
Ann is survived by her husband, Rev. Terry Booth; her daughters, Allison McDaniel, Andrea Booth, and Ashley Duplantis and Son-in-Law, Neal Duplantis; her grandchildren, Maddy and Kenzie (Allison), Ava and Emily (Andrea), Landon and Isabella (Ashley); her great grandson, Ryder (Maddy); her brother, Wayne Butler and wife, Cathy Butler; her niece, Anna Tillman; and her brother and sister in law, Jesse and Dorcas Booth.
Ann is preceded in death by her loving parents, Paul and Betty Butler; and her sister in law, Kathy Butler.
Ann often told her girls her favorite verse:
I can do all things thru Christ who gives me strength. Phillippians 4:13
Services will be held Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at Amite Baptist Church. Visitation 9:00am-12:00pm, service and graveside 12:00pm. Service will be lead by dear family friend, Rev. Johnny Morgan.

Our prayers and love to Bro Terry and their entire family. I just heard of Ann’s moving to heaven today. When I think of you and Ann, one word comes to mind…”blessing”. Y’all are a blessing to many.

Rest in Peace sweet Ann. Thoughts, prayers and deepest sympathy for The Booth family
(Ann and I were Library assistants in middle school. Fun memories. She was in our class of 1970 graduating class. )

I’m so sorry to hear this! Mrs Ann was a lovely woman. I’m glad I was able to help her and spend time with her when I was young. My sympathies to the family.

I was in first grade with Ann all the way through graduating in 1970. I have not seen her in quite a while but remember her sweet smile. Prayers for Terry and her girls and grandkids.

Our prayers and condolences are with Rev. Terry, the girls and all the family. Ann and Terry have left an indelible mark on this entire community, and it reaches across the miles and hearts of many. Ann was a loving, righteous and faithful lady who faced everything in her life with her faith. Her kindness and willingness to take time for anyone was nothing but grace and came from her heart. She was on fire for Jesus and any who was blessed to know her has no doubt where she is now. Lifting her beautiful and loving family in prayer as she celebrates her place in glory. God bless you all and much love is sent your way.
