Nellie Theresa Kent LeJeune, 70, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Saturday, January 18, 2025 at her home in Springfield, Louisiana. Nellie loved to fish, craft, garden and do anything artistic. She could take the simplest of things and make them beautiful. She was known for having the biggest, giving heart. She gave to any charity she thought could use her help and she was always putting others first to make sure they were taken care of. Nellie had a special way of making you laugh, even at your lowest moments. Nellie was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend and she will be missed dearly by all who’s lives were touched by her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jimmy and Stella Kent.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Johnny LeJeune; children, Chantale LeJeune Wascom, husband Jason, and Johnny Paul LeJeune; grandchildren, Samantha Craig, husband Austin, Mia Wascom, and Kira Wascom; great-grandchildren, Murray and Lydia Craig; siblings, Jimmy Jo Kent, wife Bernice, Woody Kent, wife Patti, Ginger Sullivan, husband Pat, Louise White, husband Jimmy, and Mary Wright, husband Jimbo; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
