Joseph Dwayne Broussard passed at the age of 61 on January 24, 2025 at his home in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on September 19, 1963 to his parents Joseph Broussard and Emma Ramsey Broussard. Dwayne went to vocational technical school and was an owner of his own business in the HVAC industry.

He is survived by his son Dylan Broussard and fiancée Elise Barras, daughter Emma Broussard Krohn and her husband Kyle, and grandson Barrett, sister Judy Broussard McGehee and husband Johnny, brothers Bobby Broussard and Stacey Broussard, nephews Justin McGehee, Cody McGehee, and Sean McGehee, as well as long-time partner Susan Hicks.

Dwayne was always cracking jokes and never failed to make you laugh. His children were his pride and joy. He was an amazing father and loved his children and grandchild with all his heart and they loved him just as much. He loved his friends and family. He had the biggest heart, was always the first to offer help when needed and would give you the shirt off his back. He was a master boiler of crawfish and a firework fanatic. He lived for rock-n-roll music. Kiss, Motley Crue, and AC/DC were just a few of his favorite bands. His other interests included planes, flying drones, and fishing anytime he got the chance.  He will be deeply missed by all those who had the privilege to know and love him.

There will be a visitation held at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs on Thursday, January 30 from 1pm to 3pm with a memorial service starting at 3pm.
