Tori Griggs Evans, born in Alexandria and a resident of Denham Springs, passed away February 10, 2025 at the age of 36. Tori was a loving mother, wife, daughter, sister, and friend. Tori loved nature and the outdoors. As a child she wanted to grow up to be a Paleontologist. Though, her natural ability to help others and her kind soul placed her in healthcare. She could see the kindness in others, when no other could.
Tori was a precious, loving soul and the best hugger, warming the hearts of others with her own. She was a special blessing in all of our lives. Her smile shined from her beauty inside and out. Her legacy will live on through each of her beautiful daughters. Tori will be deeply missed and will remain within our hearts, minds and souls forevermore.
She had a deep connection with God and there is no question that she is in a better place, watching over her family and friends
She is survived by her husband of 9 years; Nicholas Evans, parents; Tony and Donna Griggs, daughters; Chloe Murphy, Ila Belle Miller and Claire Evans, brother; Dustin Griggs and wife Paula, nieces; Finley, Eliza, and Zoda Griggs, as well as her nephew Bishop Griggs.
She is preceded in death by her father-in-law, Duncan Evans, paternal grandparents; Ron and Beverly Griggs, and maternal grandparents; Don and Edie Mitchell.
