Albert Noel Blache, Jr.

Albert Noel Blache, Jr. 72 years old, Baton Rouge, LA passed away on March 4, 2025. Born on February 4, 1953, in New Orleans, LA, he was a devoted husband to Ellisa and loving father to Albert Noel III (Bert), foster father to Eddie Dix. Al had a great number of friends and relatives. He was a people-person, loved by all. He loved his family and friends with complete devotion. Al was one of the biggest sports enthusiasts, especially football – LSU Tigers. He lived and breathed football. If he wasn’t at the game or watching it on TV, he was breaking down each play on the phone
with his friends. He loved his golf as much as he loved football. In fact, in his earlier days, he would play golf all over the country. Al started his career as a plumber, having many old football injuries, he decided to give up plumbing and started a business – Northgate Seafood and Liquor, located at the gates of LSU. There he devoted 19 years, making many friends and acquaintances. He truly loved his business. From there, Al decided to give his golf interest a go. He pursued a career in golf pro/golf club management in Orlando, Florida at Golf School of the South. He started his golf
management career at Belle Terre Golf Course in LaPlace, LA, for four years. He then went to The Bluffs – St. Francisville, LA for a number of years. Finally, ending up at Santa Maria Golf Course in Baton Rouge, LA, where he retired. But his greatest and most important career roles were being a devoted, loving, father and teacher to his son, Bert, and devoted- loving husband to Ellisa of 42 years. He participated in all his son’s endeavors, he never missed a football, basketball, or baseball practice or game. He loved his wife and son with all of his heart. Life with Al was never a dull moment. He will
be truly missed by his family and many friends.
He is survived by his wife, Ellisa; son Albert Noel III (Morgan); foster son Eddie (Angel) Dix; brother Mark (Jan); brothers-in-law: Jimmy Deville, Sr.; Lawrence Martin; Brian Templet; Rick Oubre, sisters-in-law: Mary Oubre; Joyce Templet; Linda Blache; Theresa Seals. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Al is preceded in death by his father, Albert Noel Blach Sr.; mother Lois S. Blache; brother Michael Blache; sisters Linda Czindulas and April Deville.
Visitation will be held at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, Greenwell Springs, Wednesday, March 12, from 10 a.m. until service at 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
