Cynthia Ann Breeden Rogers, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend died Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at Baton Rouge General Hospital, Baton Rouge Louisiana, surrounded by her family. She was 84. Cynthia was born January 25, 1941, in Pride, Louisiana, and was a lifelong resident of Greenwell Springs. She was a 1959 graduate of Pride High School. Cynthia enjoyed her grandchildren, spending time with family and friends, gardening, fishing and was an avid LSU and Saints fan. She retired from East Baton Rouge School Board as a Teacher’s Aide. Cynthia was a lifelong member of Sandy Creek Baptist Church.
Cynthia is survived by her husband of 64 years, Frank Earl Rogers, sons Dwayne Earl Rogers (Gloria), and Dwyndle Ray Rogers, a daughter, Donna Jean Hannon; grandchildren Aaron Rogers, Kelly McDonald and Tori Hannon. Great grandchildren, Harlan Rogers, Paisley McDonald, Isabelle McDonald and Hudson McDonald. Her sister Rosemary Casey, two sister-in-laws D’Ann Breeden and Judy Breeden, brother David Breeden (Karen) and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Cynthia is preceded in death by her parents, Anna Carroll and Lacy Earl Breeden Jr.; her sister, Linda Breeden Herpin; brothers Carroll Glynn Breeden, and Lacy (Skip) Breeden III.
Visitation will be on Friday, March 14 from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at Sandy Creek Baptist Church in Pride. Service will be at 11 a.m. at Sandy Creek Baptist Church, conducted by Bro. Jimmy Robertson, who officiated Cynthia and Earl’s wedding 64 years ago, followed by burial in Sandy Creek Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Dallas Todd Herpin, Chris Starns, Wesley Breeden, Carroll Glynn (Buzz) Breeden, Jr., Tyler McDonald, and Aaron Rogers.

I just found out that you mom passed. I’m so very sorry. Sounds like the last few years had been very hard on her and you trying to look after her. Well she is out of her suffering now and in a better place.
