Cody Patrick Scivicque, a gentle and loving soul, passed away at the age of 33 in Denham Springs, Louisiana, on March 13, 2025, after a courageous battle with stomach cancer. Born on September 14, 1991, Cody’s warm presence and resilient spirit were a gift to all who knew him.

Cody’s family was the cornerstone of his life. He was the beloved son of Stephanie Langlois Lawson and the late Ron Scivicque, and a cherished stepson to Michael Lawson. His sister, Maddie Scivicque, shared many treasured moments with him, and his bond with his paternal grandfather, Pat Scivicque, was one of mutual love. Cody was preceded in death by his father, Ron Scivicque; his paternal grandmother, Janice Scivicque; and his maternal grandparents, J.C. and Patsy Langlois. Each of them held a special place in his heart.

Cody’s early years were filled with the joy of family and the excitement of cheering for his favorite sports teams, the LSU Tigers and the New Orleans Saints. His infectious enthusiasm for his teams was matched only by his passion for playing on his computer, watching his beloved cartoons, and spending time with his cherished pets. Cody’s zest for life extended to his culinary adventures, as he relished going out to eat with his longtime caretaker and best friend, Rochelle Cornish-Franklin.

Cody’s gentle nature made him a friend to many, and his loving demeanor ensured that he was a source of comfort to those around him. His courage in facing life’s challenges was a testament to his strength of character, and it served as an inspiration to others who were fortunate enough to witness his journey.

As we remember Cody, we reflect on a life that, though too short, was lived with an abundance of love and a spirit that refused to be dampened by adversity. His laughter, his kindness, and his bravery will be deeply missed, but they will continue to resonate in the hearts and minds of those who loved him.

In honor of Cody’s memory, let us hold close the moments that brought us happiness, the times when his gentle spirit lifted our own, and the courage with which he faced each day. May we find comfort in the shared memories, the laughter, and the love that Cody so generously gave to the world.

A Celebration of Life will be held on March 27, 2025, from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at Seale Funeral Home, located at 1720 S. Range Avenue, Denham Springs, LA.

Your presence we miss,
