Craig Joseph Charrier

Craig Joseph Charrier, 72, a native and resident of Baton Rouge, passed away Friday, March 21, at his home. Craig was a 1970 graduate of Broadmoor High School. He was very proud of his service to his country in the United States Air Force. He worked for many years as an iron worker before retiring. He was a member of the NRA and loved to be on the road, riding cross country on his Harley, which many times took him to the world famous Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. Craig was a devoted father, grandfather, great-grandfather, son, brother and friend and will be missed dearly by all those who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his father, Curtis Charrier Sr; brother, Keith Charrier Sr; grandson, Johnathan Mack Bordelon; and nephew, Keith Charrier Jr.
Craig is survived by his daughters, Tara Bordelon and husband, Keith, and Shannon Stewart and husband, Donnie; son, Russell Charrier and wife, Corrina; grandchildren, Aaron Lowe, Camille Stewart, Kyle Sylvester, Harli Hendrickson, Gage Charrier, Gabrielle Bordelon, and Russell Craig Charrier; great-granddaughter, Gracelyn Sylvester; mother, Ethel Cheek Charrier; brothers, Curtis Charrier Jr and wife, Jaylene, Brian Charrier and wife, Leigh Anne; and Michael Charrier Sr.; and his best friend, Jennifer Taylor; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and riding buddies.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to his mother, Ethel, his daughter, Tara and husband Keith, his dearest and best friend, Jennifer Taylor for being at his side until his last breath; also a thank you to Audubon Hospice, his nurse Lara Rayburn and social worker Hilary Tallman.
Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, Friday, April 4, from 12 p.m. until the celebration of his life at 2 p.m. Please share your condolences at .
