Years ago in the late 60’s and early 70’s, when the world was young, I first met Lee on the school bus carrying us to and from school. Close friends called him “Cookie”, as that was what his parents called him, presumably due to his penchant for cookies and milk. I took my Novice ham radio licensing exam on his kitchen table after being Elmer’d by Robert Sr and Cookie. Afterwards, they lent me the equipment to get on the air so that I could learn the skills necessary to upgrade. I will never forget their generosity and good will extended to a high school kid that simply wanted to learn more about radio. Godspeed, Cookie. W5ZDW DE W5MD

Jen and Carlos,
We are so sorry for your loss.
There is no greater heartache than saying goodbye to the people we love, especially our parents. It’s the price we pay for living and loving in this world. May you never forget how precious that price is.
We love you!

Leonard had a giving heart. He helped people but never wanted it known. He was truly a kind and loving person.
