Jewell “Frank” Frazier, also known as “Daddy Frank”, born in Kosciusko, Mississippi on March 19, 1943 and a resident of Amite, Louisiana passed away April 3, 2025, at the age of 82. 

Frank was a dedicated supervisor for the City of Denham Springs Water Department for 30 years. Upon his retirement, he opened his own successful utility contracting company, Backhoe Specialty of Louisiana, for many years.

Daddy Frank enjoyed dancing with his girls while listening to the HTP, long drives in the country, eating at Linda’s & Story’s and watching his grandchildren & great-grandchildren grow and enjoy life.

He is survived by his spouse, Donna Firmin Frazier, children, Cindy Frazier Milling (Collier), Scott Frazier (Colleen),  Tony Frazier (Dana), Stacie Haynes (Chris), grandchildren, Jessica Milling, Erin McDaniel (Dustin), Hannah Frazier (Ryan), Emily Hebert (Blake), Brett Frazier (Emily), Cody Haynes (Toni), Nick Miner (Katie), and bonus grand-daughter, Lea Richard (Ben), great-grandchildren, Elliott, Brynlee, Elaine, Bennett, Barrett, Jessie Rose, Avery and Clara Mae, sisters, Lottie Mayo, Peggy Carr, as well as sister-in-laws, Doris Frazier, Wendy Mullen and Brenda Toepfer. He is also survived by a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

He is preceded in death by parents, Emmett and Wilma Frazier, son Curtis Franklin Frazier, grandsons, Joseph Milling and Shane Ashley, siblings, Virginia Stanley, Monroe Frazier, Dale Frazier, as well as a host of family and friends whom he dearly loved.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Brett Frazier, Blake Hebert, Dustin McDaniel, Nick Miner, Ryan Jackson, and Cody Haynes.

Services will take place at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs on Monday, April 7, 2025, with visitation from 6:00 PM-9:00 PM. Visitation will resume on Tuesday, April 8. 2025 from 11:00 AM-2:00 PM with funeral service starting at 2:00 PM. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.

The family would like to give special thanks to Hilda Angelo and Jennifer Carter for all the loving care they gave to Daddy Frank. The family would also like to give special thanks to his cousin, Roy Frazier, for his lifetime of friendship and love.

 

The Family would like to offer a special thank you to Clarity Hospice & Fidelis House White Road for their outstanding care of our “Daddy Frank”

    Frank, I will miss you man , when on my way back to Mississippi with only a few minutes to stop by at house in Amite and you would either start talking to me are put on a western on that big TV you have and end up staying 3 hours and always enjoying myself! U will always be missed! Love you man!

    Uncle Frank, I have Loved you my whole life. So many memories of our families being together. I will miss you dearly and will continue to Love you forever.
