Gerald “Jerry” Lynch

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Gerald “Jerry” Jameson Lynch on Saturday, April 5, at the age of 57. Jerry was born in Baton Rouge to the late Joyce Edwards and Willoughby “Bill” Lynch on August 18, 1967.

He is survived by his wife, Janelle Elaine Lynch, his 2 sons, Cody Lynch (Angelle Lynch) and Ryan Lynch, 3 stepchildren, Glenn Harrilal (Courtney Slay), Katie Avants( Bryan Avants), and Anya Harrilal, six siblings, Ida Carolyn Coutee (Buddy Coutee) , Willoughby “Billy” Lynch, Brenda Davis (Gerald Davis), Laura Davis (Larry Davis), Sammy Lynch, as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He grew up in Denham Springs and graduated in 1986 from Denham Springs High School. Jerry had a long career working as an Electrical Superintendent, where he got to work all over the country. He loved playing golf, fishing, and watching LSU football. He always had a joke on hand and was either laughing with you or at you. His greatest happiness was from his family and spending time with them. He will be deeply missed by many.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for a visitation at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs on Friday, April 11, 2025 from 3:00 pm until the funeral service at 5:00 pm.
