    A Fallen Limb
A limb has fallen from the family tree.
I keep hearing a voice that says, “Grieve not for me.
    Remember the best times,
    the laughter, the song.
The good live I lived while I was strong.
Continue my heritage, I’m counting on you.
Keep smiling and surely the sun will shine through.
My mind is at ease, my soul is at rest.
Remembering all, hhowI truly was blessed.
Continue traditions, no matter how small.
Go on with your life, don’t worry about falls.
I miss you all dearly, so keep up your chin.
Until the day comes we’re together again.”

When I read this poem, it so reminded me of the many times, Mr. James and I sat on the back porch watching the wind blow the limbs on the beautiful orange trees he was so proud of. Those were the sweetest oranges 🍊 I have ever had. I sure wish I would have kept the seeds of those beauties. I would plant 3 trees, One for my two children I buried, and the third in memory of a great man, some called him dad, some called him Paw Paw, some called him Uncle, mainly he was Mr James. He comforted me more times than anyone knew. I thanked him each time. He may not have understood what he was consoling me for, but I did, and that ment alot to me.
Thank you, to all the Renfrow children and grands for sharing this beautiful soul with me. I truly loved him along with his family members. I have great memories, I will hold in my heart forever.
    ❤️ Nanny
