Cheryl Smith Abbott Ballard, 79, of Walker, Louisiana, passed away Friday, April 18, 2025. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great and great-great grandmother and friend and will be missed by all who knew her.
Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, Livingston, Friday, April 25, from 9 a.m. until service at 11 a.m., officiated by Bro. Harry McBeth. Burial will follow at Judson Baptist Cemetery, Walker.
She is survived by her daughter, Becky Abbott (Frank); son, Sammy Abbott; and daughter, Mavis Owens (Pickle); as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Donald Abbott; 2nd Husband, Charles Ballard; two daughters, Liz Golden and Donna LeBlanc; parents, George W. Smith and Alma Hughes Seefield; as well as grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

So sorry for your loss my RIP in peace, I didn’t know her but I did know some of her children, I when to walker school with Becky, Sammy, Donna sending prayers for the family. God bless

Sorry for your loss, knew of her on FB and enjoyed some of her comments and she would reply to mine as well , So FB Friend glad too have communicated with you , rest now in the arms of Jesus and prayers to the family as you go thru this trying time but know God is with you, it was a pleasure being kept up to date on your good and bad times
