It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Robert Eric Brown, Sr, of Denham Springs, Louisiana. Robert was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on July 23,1949 and was 75 years old. He passed away at his home in Denham Springs surrounded by his loving family on April 18, 2025. Robert was an avid fan of Nascar racing, attending all Talladega races, all LSU sports and bass fishing, a member of The Christian Men’s Bass Club. He was a 1967 graduate of Denham Springs High School and a 1977 graduate of George Washington University in Washington, DC. He proudly served his country in the US Navy for 10 years and retired from the Denham Springs Post Office as a Letter Carrier and Union Representative with over 40 years of service. He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.

Survived by his high school sweetheart, and the love of his life, Rebecca (Becky) Robertson Brown. On April 4th we celebrated 56 years of marriage. He leaves behind our son, Robert (Bobby) Eric Brown, Jr., our daughters, Leanne Watts and Jennifer Johnson. Grandchildren, Katelyn Neal (Hayden), Robert Hunter Brown, Matthew Robert Johnson, Kailey Watts, MaKynzie Brown and Marissa Johnson. Great-grandchildren Breck and Andi Kate Neal and Adalynn and Violet Brown.

Preceded in death by his parents, Eric W and Margie Starns Brown, brother Donald Ray Brown and granddaughter Jayden Elizabeth Johnson.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Jess Anderson, Nurses Cara, Gabby and CNA Betty of OLOL and Melissa and Hailee with Hospice In His Care.
