Robert E. Eddleman

Robert E. Eddleman, born in Kenton, Tennessee and a resident of Liberty, Mississippi, passed away May 10, 2025 at the age of 81. Robert was a Baton Rouge Police Officer for 30 years. In his later years, he became a deacon at Hebron Baptist Church in Smithdale, Mississippi. In his free time he liked to spend his time reading. His caring spirit will be missed dearly by all those who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Wilda Eddleman; children, Kayla Carmack(Gary), Judy York(William), Vance Eddleman(Laura Leigh) and Charles Lee(Brenda), 14 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, sister, Brenda Tarver and brother, Thomas G. Eddleman.

He is preceded in death by his parents Herman and Lena Eddleman and son, Dean Wesley.

Visitation will take place at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs on Wednesday May 14, 2025 from 9:00 AM-1:00 PM with service beginning at 1:00 PM and burial to follow in Colyell Community Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Ryan Distefano, Grant Distefano, Jacob Eddleman, Dakotah Eddleman, Tommy Eddleman, Bryce Distefano, and honorary pallbearer, Lane Distefano.
