It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Curtis Eugene Lambert, who departed this life on Friday, May 16, 2025, at the age of 80. Curtis was a beloved son, brother, uncle, father, Paw-Paw, and friend, whose presence touched the lives of all who knew him.
Born on August 18th in Independence, Louisiana, Curtis was a man of quiet strength and unwavering kindness. He lived a life defined by integrity, hard work, and a deep love for his family. Whether offering a helping hand, sharing a warm smile, cooking a meal, or telling a story to bring laughter, Curtis had a unique way of making people feel seen and valued.
Curtis dedicated 32 years to Borden Milk, followed by 8 years at DCI, 3 years at Sanders, and 2 years as a security guard. Outside of work, he found joy in cooking, fishing, and camping, always eager to share his passions with others. His legacy lives on through the countless memories shared and the values he instilled in those around him.
He is survived by his daughter, Michelle Lambert Stilley (Jasone); two grandchildren, Shelton Curtis Stilley and Dillion Joseph Vullo (Mika); two sisters, Mary Louise Beaumont and Betty Morace (Sherman); and James Pipatone, who he loved like a son and who was always there for him. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Sandra “Sandy” Ann Laiche Lambert; his daughter, Tammy Lambert Vullo; his sister, Jerrie McLeod; his brothers, Cardis Lambert Jr. and Ray Lambert; his sister-in-law, Patsy Lambert; his father, Cardis S. Lambert, Sr.; and his mother, Jessie Lee Schillings Lambert.
A Celebration of Curtis’s Life will be held on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs, with visitation from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. All who knew and loved him are welcome to attend and honor his memory.
Though he may be gone from our sight, he will forever remain in our hearts. His legacy of love, kindness, and strength will continue to inspire all who knew him.
