Robert “Ardell” Temple

Robert “Ardell” Temple, 61, a resident of Greenwell Springs, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on May 16, 2025, in Meadville, Mississippi. He was born on February 18, 1964, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Ardell is survived by his devoted wife of 40 years, Betsy Temple; his loving mother, Margaret Temple Johnson; his brother, Dale Temple (Michelle); his children, Brandon Temple (Samantha), Kyle Temple (Madisun), and Kayla Temple; and five cherished grandchildren: Matthew Temple, Easton Temple, Dawson Baker, Rylee Temple, and Kathryn Temple. He was preceded in death by his father, Ernest Temple; his stepmother, Melva Temple; and his brother, Thomas Temple.

A graduate of ITI, Ardell was known for his strong work ethic, dependable nature, and the ability to fix anything. He had a passion for woodworking, spent countless winters deer hunting with family, and rarely missed a sporting event for his grandchildren—always their biggest supporter in the stands.

Ardell’s legacy of love, commitment, and hands-on devotion to his family and community will live on through all who knew and loved him.

A public visitation will be held on Thursday, May 22, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Seale Funeral Service, followed by the funeral service at 11:00 AM.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dale Temple, Bobby Temple, David Temple, Wesley Temple, Jonathan Temple, and Jason Rymer.
