Jean H. Toups - Seale Funeral Service

Jean H. Toups, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend passed away on May 22, 2025. He was born on March 25, 1939 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He worked as a Motor Pool Supervisor for West Lake Chemical. He was one of the founding members of the Baton Rouge Corvette Club, an avid fisherman and a diehard LSU Football fan.

Jean is survived by his wife of 44 years, Brenda Broadhurst Toups; daughter, Pamela Phillips Franklin (Donnie); son, Trey Jackson (Brandy); grandchildren, Grace Jackson, Hannah Franklin, Gavin Franklin, and Menzie Franklin; sister, Sally Morgan; nieces and nephews, Toni Toups Reinninger (godchild), Lauren Owens, Camille Hickman, Patrick Richardson, Robbie Toups, Jonathan Baxter, Ben Broadhurst; mother in law, Joella Broadhurst; sister in law, Leanne Stanfield (Eddie); and brother in law, Buddy Broadhurst (Laura).

Jean is preceded in death by his father, Felix H. Toups; mother, Iona Angelo Toups; brother, Robert Toups; brothers in law, John Morgan and Doran Baxter; nephew, Stephen Richardson; father in law, Bud Broadhurst; niece, Michelle Walters; nephew, Brad Broadhurst.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for a visitation at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs on Monday May 26, 2025 from 10:00 AM until the funeral service at 12:00 PM.
