Samuel Robert Pierson passed at the age of 51 on April 29, 2025 at his residence in Holden, Louisiana. He was born on April 9, 1974 in Hammond, Louisiana to his parents Diane Wallace Pierson White and Ben Ray Pierson. He attended Southeastern LA University and was a jack of all trades. He was known for helping anyone he could, being able to build or fix just about anything. He was kind hearted and would take in and give anyone a place to rest and food to eat. He was happiest spending his free-time with family, fishing, and riding four-wheelers with his daughters. Sam will be dearly missed by those that had the joy to know and love him.
He is survived by mother Diane Wallace Pierson White (spouse Buddy White), step-father David Andrews, daughters ReAlity Pierson and Loula Mae Pierson, sister Alissa Smith, and brothers Benjamin Andrews and Cole Andrews.
He is preceded in death by father Ben Ray Pierson, paternal grandparents Ben Ray Pierson Sr. and Lula Mae Pierson, and maternal grandparents Fleet Wallace Sr. and Sally Wallace.
Pallbearers are Kevin ‘Junior’ Thompson, Bobby Sykes, Bobby Beard, Andy Andras, and Archie Oliphant.
There will be a graveside service held at Courtney Cemetery in Holden on Monday, May 26 starting at 11am. There will be a gathering of friends and family at the First Baptist Church following the burial.

Sam you will be missed by so many in this world. You and I were connected in so many ways but once you became my true family it made such a blessing. You’ve saved me from a few things in my life.. May you rest in peace and tell all our other family members hello for me. Love ya buddy!!!!
