Robert “Bob” Monroe Evans, age 83, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, May 23rd, 2025.
He was a resident of Livingston and a native of Rochester Hills, Michigan. He was born in Pontiac Michigan on April 26th, 1942 to Leo Evans and Pearl Evans. He graduated from Rochester High School in 1960. He loved bowling, playing basketball and football. He also loved watching Michigan Football, boating and spending time on the water with family.
He proudly served in the United States Marine Corp from 1961 – 1965. On October 9th, 1971 he married the love of his life Theresa Ann Lott. He retired from the United States Post Office in 2004 where he was a clerk.
He is proceeded in death by his father Leo Evans, mother Pearl Evans, Brother Roger Evans and Sister Dorothy Williams.
He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Ann Lott Evans, daughters Cheri Evans Smith and Husband Cecil Smith, Debi Evans Davis and husband Troy Davis, grandchildren Cade Smith, Carisa Smith Guillory and husband Blaine Guillory, Grant Davis, and great grandchild Iris Guillory.
Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home at 20335 Texas Street, Livingston, LA on Saturday, May 31st from 10 am to 12 pm with a service at 12 pm. A celebration of life reception will help immediately following the service at Mission of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 29589 South Poplar Street, Livingston, LA.
