In Loving Memory of Kenneth Harold Troxler, Sr.
September 10, 1941 – May 22, 2025
Age 83

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Kenneth Harold Troxler, Sr., who departed this life peacefully on May 22, 2025, at the age of 83. A devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather and great-grandfather, Kenneth was known for his quiet strength, deep love of the outdoors, and unwavering faith in God.

Born on September 10, 1941, Kenneth was the son of Elvira Viola Babin and Leo Joseph Troxler. He dedicated over 20 years of his career as an operator at Shell Oil Refinery in Norco, where he was respected for his hard work, loyalty, and integrity.

Kenneth found his greatest joy in the woods and on the water. An avid hunter and fisherman, he felt most at peace surrounded by nature. Whether in a deer stand at dawn or casting a line on a still afternoon, he cherished the quiet beauty of the outdoors. His love for nature was not just a pastime—it was a way of life, and a gift he passed down to his children and grandchildren.

Kenneth also had a lifelong love for sports. He enjoyed playing when he was younger and took great pride in watching his children and grandchildren play the sports they loved. Whether it was sitting in the stands or cheering from home, he was always their biggest fan.

Above all, Kenneth was a man of strong Christian faith. He loved the Lord with all his heart and boldly shared the message of Jesus with his family and friends. His life was a living testimony of God’s grace, and he made sure everyone he met knew the source of his strength and peace. His faith shaped the way he loved, led, and lived, and his legacy will continue through the lives he touched with the Gospel.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Maria Liberty Troxler, and their children: daughter Brandie L. Amato, and sons Kenneth H. Troxler, Jr., William J. Evans III (husband, Dr. Jack Isaacs), and Shane S. Troxler (wife, Brandi Troxler). He was a proud grandfather to Erin Troxler, Lakin Sanders, Gabrielle Howard, Morgan Smith, Isabella Troxler, Kyleigh Amato, Brennan Amato, and Frank Amato; and a loving great-grandfather to Aaden Sanders, Kane Sanders, Maverick Sanders, Isabella Miller, Daxtyn Mitchell, Rhemi Guitreau, EvaKate Fields, and Grayson Howard.

Kenneth is also survived by his sisters Sylvia Stanga, Jo Ann Rivers, Marian Edgar, Marcia Gonzales, and Jayne Weathers. He was preceded in death by his brother Leo Troxler III, his parents, and his grandparents: Leo Edmond and Sylvia Faucheax Troxler, and Oliver Joseph and Rose Elizabeth Petite Babin.

    Sending prayers his family!
I loved my big brother and I will miss him, but it’s not goodbye, it’s just till I see you again. And I know this without a doubt cuz he wasn’t just a Christian by title, but he walked the walk and he talked the talk. I love you Harold!
