Linda Chisholm’s singing was an act of worship to the God she lived for and loved. On June 9, 2025, her God called her home to be with Him. Linda was known for her kindness and generosity. Those who knew her best and loved her will miss her greatly.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Norma Jean Prather; her husband, William Chisholm; her son Ronnie Chisholm and her granddaughter, Hannah Marie. Those of us left behind to miss her include: her sister, Rebecca “Becky” Schenk (Chris); her sister-in-law, Susie Prather; her children Anissa Hoover (Aldon) and William Chisholm (Toni); grandchildren, Jon Hoover (Rosie), Leigh Mistrot (Ronald), Kyle Chisholm, Jessica Galloway (Dalton), Haley Roy (Chad), McKenzie, Nathan and Tim Hoover. She also had 6 great grands with 2 on the way.
Many more friends and family were impacted by Linda’s life and are sad at her passing. But there is hope! In I Thessalonians 4:13-18, Paul tells us that we will see those who have “fallen asleep” in Jesus again if we are faithful to Christ. Be faithful!
Services will take place at Denham Springs Church of Christ (118 St. Louis St. Denham Springs, La 70726) on Saturday June 14, 2025 with visitation from 11:00 AM -1:00 PM and service beginning at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park.

Linda was a wonderfully kind person. A women of strong faith and an example of servitude to Christ. She went out of her way to make me feel welcomed and a part of her church family. She is loved and will be missed by many.
