Roy Davis, a longtime resident of Jarreau, LA, passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2022, at Harvest Manor in Denham Springs, LA at the age of 71. He was born September 14, 1951, in Franklin Parish to the late William Pink Davis Sr. and Mattie Minerva McKenzie. He was a millwright at Big Cajun Electric in New Roads, later had a lawn and landscaping business, and always enjoyed a good party.
He is survived by his son Roger Dale Davis of Denham Springs and grandson, Liam Hunter Davis; his daughter Elizabeth Davis Quinonez, granddaughter Mercedes Davis, and grandson Blaise Davis. He is also survived by brothers Alvin Davis, Bobbie Ray Davis and a sister, Margie Lynch.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Raymond Troy Davis, William Pink Davis Jr., Marvin J. Davis, Alfred Davis, and sister Mildred Viola Davis. He will be interred with his parents at Ellis Cemetary in Franklinton, LA.
