Clarence D. Snyder, 76, of Denham Springs, Louisiana, retired chemical plant manager and former proprietor of Jambalaya and Company of Denham Springs, died Wednesday, January 18, 2023, peacefully at his home surrounded by loved ones.
Clarence, fondly known as Denny, was born to Ivy Clarence Snyder, Jr. and Annie Neal Impson on October 28, 1946, in Baton Rouge. He was a dedicated husband and father who enjoyed fishing, hunting, westerns, and caring for his puppies.
Denny is survived by his wife, Cheryl Snyder; four children, Stephanie Bannister, Angie Sunde, Clarence Denvil Snyder, Jr., and Sean Snyder; ten grandchildren, Stephen, Spencer, and Sterling Suggs; Austin, Brooke, and Grant Sunde; Rayvin Ragas and Gavyn Snyder; and Evan and Kaden Snyder; and two great-grandchildren, Camden Sunde and Adelyn Suggs. He is also survived by his sister Dianne Rutherford. Denny was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Deborah Erskine; and stepson Larry James “Jimmy” Price, Jr.
Funeral services take place Sunday, January 22, 2023 – visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. and service at 2:00 p.m. – at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs. Burial to take place at Grangeville Cemetery, Grangeville, Louisiana.

I was so sorry to read about Denny. He was always so happy and nice to me. I really wished I lived closer to his company as his food was delicious, especially the jambalaya. My thoughts and prayers are with you and his family during this difficult time.
