Ann Jeannette Poole LaPlace passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at her home in Norco, Louisiana, surrounded by her family and friends at age 78. She preceded in death by her parents, George Poole, Elizabeth Poole. Her husband, Louis LaPlace Jr and her siblings, George Poole Jr. and Mary Costa. She leaves behind her children, Michael (Rebecca) LaPlace, Robert (Stephanie) LaPlace and grandchildren, Victoria LaPlace, Tiffany (Jeremy) Marquis, Mackenzie LaPlace and Benjamin LaPlace as well as her beloved cat, Toby LaPlace.

Jeannette was born in Alexandria, Virginia, she got married to her husband Louis LaPlace in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The two had their sons, Michael and Robert LaPlace before her husband took a job in New Orleans, Louisiana and the family moved to Metairie where they raised their two young boys. After Hurricane Katrina, Jeannette moved to Norco, Louisiana to her home where she enjoyed gardening and tending to her roses. She was also an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

The family will hold a celebration of her life for her Sunday, March 5, 2023 at KC Hall in Norco, LA from 3:00pm to 5:00pm if anyone would like to come pay their respects. Jeannette will be interred in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in April 2023 per her wishes.
