Sally Ann Robinson Womack was born March 3, 1935 in Sarepta, Louisiana to William S. Robinson and Iva Denmon Robinson. She left this world on April 12, 2023. She is preceded in death by her husband Bobbie R. Womack, her parents, and her sister, Marilyn R. Edwards. She is survived by her son Jay Guy, daughters Karen Guy Cassels (Ray), Cindy Guy Hughes (Dean) and Robin Guy Lawson (David), 2 stepdaughters Gerri Womack Garon (Paul) and Leslie Womack McDonner, 15 grandchildren Kristen Turner Young (Drew), Trey Cassels, Chelsie Alford, Zack Alford, Amie Lawson Murphy (Tim), Drew Lawson (Meghan), Jessy Lawson, Sam Lawson, Derek Guy (Cassandra), Michelle Guy Nilson (Zach), Mitchell Garon, Maddie McDonner, Gracie McDonner, Mollie McDonner and McKenzie McDonner, 19 great grandchildren Gavin Landry, Bentley Steele, Ellie Eiermann, Kylie Alford, Oakley Alford, Alex Young, Olivia Young, Violet Little, Eli Little, Jane Little, AJ Aviles, Ryan Murphy, Luke Murphy, Cole Murphy, Ernie Lawson, Jack Lawson, Preston Guy, Braylon Guy and Emerson Nilson, nephew Scott Edwards (Liese) and nieces Lauren Edwards Fournier (Scott) and Sarah Edwards Winkler(David) and numerous Denmon cousins.
Sally grew up in Baton Rouge and attended Baton Rouge High School where she graduated in 1952 and attended LSU. She worked for DOTD in the Road Design Division until her retirement and spent her later years volunteering in various places in Denham Springs. She was a member of the Pilot Club, Garden Club and Chamber of Commerce, all in Denham Springs. Many summers she helped with the Latch Key Program through the local police department. You could find her attending the First United Methodist Church and First Baptist Church both of Denham Springs, because she loved them both! Wherever she went she knew someone as she never met a stranger. She truly appreciated the outdoors through bird watching and gardening as well as enjoying fishing and other activities. She also was an avid LSU fan and most recently a Joe Burrows fan. What she loved the most was spending time visiting with her family and friends. If you had the pleasure of meeting her, you knew that she was quite a character and loved to laugh! She will be missed by so many people but we are comforted knowing that she is in heaven with her Lord and Savior, while surrounded by those who’ve gone on before her.

Mrs. Sally, one of the sweetest ladies and Christians I have ever known! She has definitely left her mark on this earth and all of our hearts! I can’t wait to be with her again in glory!
Our hearts and prayers are with her family and friends during this time of sorrow. She would want you to always remember that your faith in Jesus is the most important aspect of life. If your faith is in Him, you will join Sally again in the joy of your eternal home with our Savior Jesus.

SALLY,I knew from living in Northdale. She was GREAT friends with Louise Quinn,I am 8 yrs. younger but would visit with the Quinns often & LOVED being with Louise & SALLY. Winston D’ARMOND would be with me,he pasted away 3 wks. ago,his brother died last wk. I would see Sally at services for “OLD” neighbors.Sally & I were FB friends,I loved her. Always a SMILE & Positive. I will miss her!! Know she was a SPECIAL,LOVELY LADY!!

Years ago while both taking part in The Denham Springs Chamber we met and became friends instantly. We kept in touch over the years. She was a beautiful soul. I recently had a breast cancer diagnosis and she sent me an uplifting text everyday. Easter Sunday was her last. I loved her and she will be missed. Fly High Sally! 💖

I counted Sally a dear friend , because as was stated once you met her you loved her.
