Robert Willie Antoon died peacefully in Baton Rouge, LA on April 28, 2023.  He was predeceased by his parents, George Antoon and Annie Stafford Antoon, and his brother, Ray Ted Antoon.

Survivors include: his ex-wife, Mary Preuett Antoon and his children, Tricia Brumfield (Kirk) and Becky Curren (John); his grandchildren Austin J. Brumfield, Marianna K. Brumfield, Brynleigh G. Curren and Olivia C. Curren; his step-grandchild, Patrick G. Curren; his siblings James P. Antoon, Helen Sue Vaughn (Paul), sister-in-law Mary Lee Antoon, and many nieces and nephews.

Robert was born on August 18, 1954 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.  He is a graduate of Istrouma High School.  He was an avid lover of all things related to horticulture and had a great passion for antiques and their restoration.  He found true joy in spending time with his family.  He was such a genuine person, truly a bright light, that spread happiness everywhere he went.  Robert, “Pow Pow”, will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

The Family would like to thank the staff of Golden Age Nursing Home, The Hospice of Baton Rouge, and The Butterfly Wing.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 5, 2023 from 10 am-12 pm followed by a service at 12:00PM at University Methodist Church in Baton Rouge, LA.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Hospice of Baton Rouge.
