Marjorie Cooksey Kinchen, 85, passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2023 with her family at her home. Marjorie enjoyed shopping and gardening, but her true joy was in the Lord and spending time with her family. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend and will be missed by all who knew her.
Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, LA, Saturday, August 5, from 9 a.m. until service at 11 a.m., officiated by Rev. Colin McClendon. Burial will take place at 2 p.m. in Osyka Cemetery, Osyka, MS.
She is survived by her children Roger Cooksey and wife, Angie, Vicky Starkey and husband, Ken, Debra Gregoire and husband, Norwood, and Jo Ann Lloyd and husband, Tony; step son Tim Kinchen and wife, Missy; and sister, Sharon Scarberry; as well as 8 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Cooksey; 2nd husband, Loyd Kinchen; parents, Ocie and Lora Scarberry; brother Larry Scarberry; and step son, James Loyd “Bubba” Kinchen, Jr. Please share your condolences at www.sealefuneral.com.

So sorry for your Loss 😢 RIP Momma Cooksey! You will be MISSED! Loved talking to about God when would see each other at Debbie’s. Now it’s time for you to Rest.
