Karen Fay Hine Abedinzadeh passed away September 1, 2023, from complications following surgery. A graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University, she taught in Livingston Parish public schools for thirty years. Visitation will be at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs on Friday, September 8, 2023, from 9am until services at 11am, conducted by Pastor Mia Freneaux. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park. She is survived by her son Shaun Abedinzadeh and his wife Tasha Jones, her grandson Gavin Sage Abedinzadeh, and her brother Christopher Hine. She was preceded in death by her brother Donald Terrance Hine, her parents Rev. Harold R. Hine and Doris Fay Hinnant Hine, her paternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. B. J. Hine, her maternal grandparents Rev. and Mrs. R. N. Hinnant, and her uncle and aunt Mr. and Mrs. Charles L. Lyons.
