Julia Lynn Comeaux of Watson, Louisiana, passed away at the age of 59 on November 5th, 2023, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge while surrounded by her family. Julia Lynn was born on July 17th, 1964, in Beaumont, Texas, to parents James and Julia Scott. She enjoyed fishing, dancing, LSU sports, the NY Giants, and Nascar racing. She will be remembered as a loving wife, devoted mother, and endearing Nana, and will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
Julia Lynn is survived by her husband, Mason Comeaux, Sr.; her daughters, Carrie Villasana (Martin Villasana) and Amanda Dawson (Jesse Dawson); her mother, Julia Scott; her grandchildren: Madison Wester, Trevor Paiva, Kayden Paiva, Gavin Dawson, Owen Dawson, Paisley Dawson, Fabian Villasana, Jordan Payne, and Wrenley Comeaux; Step-children: Christy Zarr, Kasey Comeaux, and Mason Comeaux, Jr., brothers and sisters: Debra Sweigert, Yolanda Samaniego, Rebecca Wiltse, Charles Scott Sr., Connie McElhinney, and Leon Scott as well as many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her late husband, Richard F. Jones Jr., her father James D. Scott Sr., her brother James D. Scott Jr., and sister, Cindy Scott. A funeral service will be held at a later date in Sabinal, TX.

Julia Lynn is one of my best friend’s.We lived close to one another for many years and our children were close also.There’s way to many great memories to speak of and oh my gosh we would laugh until we almost wet our pants at times.I will miss seeing her beautiful smile on her Facebook.Fly high my beautiful friend,I know your enjoying being with all your loved one and Bones.Until we meet again ♥️ I love you very much.
