May 8, 1943 ~ January 22, 2024
Marcia Jane Costello Bryson, 80, of Satsuma, passed away suddenly on Monday, January 22, 2024. She was affectionately known to many as Nanny. She was a proud wife, mother and grandmother and great grandmother who cherished her family tremendously. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren truly meant the world to her. Marcia never missed an event for her children and grandchildren. When her grandchildren and great grandchildren weren’t keeping her busy, Marcia and her husband, Tommy, enjoyed frequenting local restaurants. In her retirement years, she enjoyed making crafts and finishing puzzles. If you were fortunate enough, you may have been gifted something she created with her many talents. Marcia loved reading about her ancestry and was proud to be a Rhode Island native. Despite that, she was an avid LSU football fan and always looked forward to game days with her grandsons.
Marcia is survived by her loving husband of almost 58 years, Tommy. Her son, Bruiser Bryson and wife, Tracy. Her daughter, Tammy Bryson Martin and husband, Todd. As well as, her brother, Bill Costello and sister, Pamela Costello. She was also blessed with 8 grandsons, BJ Savoy (Jessica), Justin Bryson (Kayla), Matthew Savoy (Brooke), Chad Bryson (Hillary), Jacob Bryson (Briana), Trent Martin (Meghan), Trevor Martin and Trey Martin.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, Mark and Agnes Costello, sisters Ann Stone and Rose Mary Mattias, and infant grandson, Dillon Todd Martin.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Seale Funeral Home in Livingston, LA on Friday, January 26, 2024 at 11:00 am with services beginning at 2:00 pm. Interment will be at a later date, due to weather, at Satsuma Baptist Church, Livingston, LA.

Tommy and family, I am deeply saddened after seeing Marcia’s obituary this morning. Loosing a soulmate of so many years is very sorrowful from my experience. You will remember her forever so focus on some of the good times you shared with her as that helps soothe the pain. Keep family near and friends close. Your friend, Bob
