Edward Thomas “Tommy” Roy, 49, of Watson, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at his home after a long illness. Tommy was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on February 20, 1974. Tommy loved woodworking as a hobby.
Tommy Roy is survived by his mother, Evelyn “Diane” P. Roy; his loving wife, Rebecca “Becky” Vampran-Roy; his son, Chad M. Roy; his grandson, Keelin M. Roy; his brother, Jerry Roy, Jr.; his half-brother, Laken Roy; and his half-sister, Ashlynn Roy. Also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Tommy is preceded in death by his father, Jerry Roy, Sr.; his maternal grandparents, Helen Grace Peavy and Thomas James Peavy, Sr.; and his paternal grandparents, Lou Roy and Lawrence Roy. In addition to the family mentioned above, Tommy is remembered by his “honorary brothers”: Cody Wartman, Jeff Reeves, Jamie Sullivan, and Chris Baham.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 18, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Seals Funeral Services, 1720 S. Range Ave., Denham Springs, LA 70726. Remembrances may be made in the form of small floral arrangements or potted plants.
