My Aunt Jo Ann was always a kind loving person , even when we had pushed her patience to the limit she would just sigh and kind of smile and then say okay and just walk away but we knew that it was time to be quiet. I spent a few weeks during the summer with Uncle Jim and Aunt Jo Ann and their six kids Jimmy Johnny, Jeffery, Joel, Amy,and Angie and I know she did not anymore kids around , but she never got upset. I remember she seemed to always be in the kitchen cooking a meal for all of us or cleaning up after cooking and then washing clothes , she was constantly doing something for us. Since me and Jimmy were about the same age we would hangout together and Johnny would be left out and he would get upset and Aunt Jo Ann would talk to him and try to work things out and she would ask us to include Johnny in whatever we were doing and always felt guilty and we tried to get Johnny involved in whatever we were doing , ( I knew that if I were not there Jimmy would be playing with Johnny ).I have fond memories of the sujmmer week in Pollock, on Cherry street, at the house on Citadel or at Grandma Harrells house on Haig street. I remember Grandma Harrison , Aunt Jo Ann;s mother was always very sweet and helpful to whatever was going on, I think Aunt Jo Ann was a great person and a good Christan woman that touched a lot lives during her time here , and she has run the race and finished well. and is now with our Lord Jesus Christ !!
