Bro Willis Ray baptized me at Carroll Baptist. He will always be my special pastor and I enjoyed his friendship during that time. We played on several church leagues together and was always a fun time. He was the only preacher that could slam dunk a ball (even if he did get a tech foul called). He was easy to cheer on.
Not everyone is blessed to have a Godly and good man for a father, but you, Jennifer and Jason did. Rejoice.
We will see him again.

We attended Louisiana College together. Sorry to hear of his passing but know he is with the great cloud of witness cheering us on to the end of the race.

Thank you all for your sweet messages about my Dad. It means so much to my brother and I to read them.
We rejoice that He is whole with Jesus now.
Much love,

Bro. Willis Ray was my pastor years ago at Carroll Baptist Church. He was a godly man and always positive about God’s love and direction for our life. It is great comfort to know that he’s with our Heavenly Father, who will be with the family and friends in this time of loss extending comfort and grace as only He can provide.

Brother Willis Ray was my pastor at First Baptist Church in Denham Springs in the 80’s. I remember him as a very good preacher, a God fearing man, and a great pastor. I am a better Christian because God placed him in my life.

Willis Ray was an amazing cousin. I have so many good memories of him. I am sorry I can’t be there tomorrow, but due to the storms and flooding here I won’t be able to make it. I will keep everyone in Don’s and my thoughts and prayers.

A much love cousin! We had so many good memories staying with our grandparents. Wish we could be there, but due to the flooding in our area it is impossible. May the Lord comfort you Aunt Jackie, Debbie, and Tamil. As well as the rest of the family and friends.
