Hal was a great hair dresser and friend. He will be greatly missed. He did my hair at various times over the year. Much love.

Hal cut my hair for over twenty years. Aside from being a talented barber, he was a wonderful person and friend. Prayers and blessings for his family.

I will forever remember our early Friday morning conversations before school. Denham Springs has lost an icon. I pray the family will find peace

When I moved from Monroe to Baton Rouge, Bengy Russell referred me to Hal. Hal was my barber for almost thirty years. He was a friend and a great resource for the “inside” scoop on LSU.
He gave my youngest son his first haircut.
I live in Texas now and will miss knowing he isn’t there.
    Rest in peace my friend!

Hal could have been a character in “Archie,” “Back to the Future” or “American Graffiti.” He was the high school trendsetter and the go-to guy for local happenings for all his adult life. An era ended when he closed his shop.

    Lanell, Jason and Lisa
Hilton and I are so sorry for the passing
Hal. He was such a fine man, husband
and father and he will be missed by so
many people. Hal never met a stranger and always made everyone feel so special. He was always so proud of his family. Y’all will be in our thoughts and prayers in the difficult days to come.
    Our love,
    Hilton and Sandra Frizell
