Maggie Lee Cannon Campbell, a resident of Denham Springs, passed peacefully at her residence on August 6, 2024, at the age of 96, surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Campbell was born on April 10, 1928, in Walker, Louisiana. She was a homemaker and a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She excelled in her cooking abilities, sewing and gardening.
She is survived by her daughter, Jenell Holland (Richard); two granddaughters, Heather Babcock (Derek) and Tiffany Sanchez (Nefthali); eight great grandchildren, Maggie, Madison, Brandon and Emily Babcock; Lydia Nielsen (Joshua), Caleb, Samuel and Anna Sanchez; a sister in-law, Mildred Cannon of Decatur, Illinois; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas James Campbell; her parents, Thomas and Retha Harris Cannon; sister, Lucille Keller (Duane); twin sister, Amy Causey (Johnnie);sister, Joyce Grantham (George); brother, Rev. Paul Cannon; and two sisters in-law, Ida Mae Ramer (Howard) and Claudia Murphy (Loyd).
She was a long-time member of Revival Temple Church in Walker and loved to serve in any capacity that she was needed. She was loved by many and will be deeply missed by family and friends.
Visitation is at Revival Temple church in Walker on Saturday, August 10, from 9:00 AM until service at 12:00 PM, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

Ms. Maggie left a legacy of special things,
Acts of kindness, friendships, and happy memories.
She was one that touched so many lives, and she will be so greatly missed.
