Nancy Vallotton Fooshee, age 80, passed away from complications of Alzehimer’s disease on August 14, 2024. Nancy is a native of Baton Rouge, LA and resided in Walker, LA. She graduated from Istrouma High School. Nancy retired from the Livingston Parish Clerk of Court and was a member of Victory Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her family and was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt (Nan, Nanny, Aunt Nan, Aunt Nancy).
Nancy is survived by her sons, Hugh Ferrel Fooshee, Jr. and Jeffrey Steven Fooshee (Kristin); grandchildren, Joshua Fooshee, Dustin Fooshee, Claudia Fooshee and Sally Fooshee and great grandchildren, Evan Fooshee, Skylar Fooshee, and Jett Fooshee. She is also survived by her sister, Judith Wyatt (Timothy).
Nancy is preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Ferrel Fooshee, Sr.; father, Hezzie Vallotton; mother, Leola Vallotton; brothers, Richard Vallotton and William Vallotton; sisters, Audrey Sheldon and Hezzie Noble.
Pallbearers will be Joshua Fooshee, Dustin Fooshee, Evan Fooshee, Timothy Wyatt, Jason Warde and Keith Young.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Victory Baptist Church.
A visitation will be held on Monday, August 19, 2024 from 10:00am – 1:00pm at Seale Funeral Home. A funeral service will begin at 1:00pm. Burial will immediately follow at Evergreen Memorial Park.
