Sandra Thornton Summers passed away on Monday, September 23, 2024 at the age of 73. Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs on Saturday, September 28, 2024 beginning at 11:00am. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park. She is survived by her husband of fifty-one years, Jimmy Summers, daughter Jennifer Summers Zimmer and husband Dustan, two grandchildren, Hutton Zimmer and Graycen Zimmer, two sisters, Sharon Thornton and Kathy Snow and husband Thomas, and numerous nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnnie and Rosa Lea Thornton, sister Phyllis Thornton, and is finally reunited with her beloved son Randy Summers. Sandy loved working with her flowers and in her garden but most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was a kind, loving, caring, and generous soul who had the most beautiful smile. She was well loved and will be missed by all who know who knew her.
