Our precious little angel, Mazi Wayne Griffin, beloved son of Darrian Gray, of Walker, and
Matthew Griffin, of Denham Springs, gained his beautiful wings in heaven on Saturday,
September 28, 2024. Mazi brought so much joy and happiness to his family and friends from the
day he was born. His infectious smile and laughter will always remain in our hearts. His strength
during this relentless battle never faltered and we are so blessed to have had three and a half
years of our lives with this beautiful little boy. Mazi, you are loved by so many.

In addition to his mother and father, he is survived by his (maternal) brother, Kingsley Gray; brother, Mylo
Griffin; (paternal) brother, Malikai Griffin; brother, Matthew Griffin, Jr.; sister, Madilynn Griffin.
Also, by his grandparents, Robyn and Anthony Stiles of Slidell, La.; Carlos and Tracey Gray of
Denham Springs, La; great-grandparents, Billie and Steve Garfield, of Houston, Tx.; Susan and
Milton Allen, of St. Joseph, La.; aunts and uncles, Dustin and Bethany Gray, of Denham Springs,
La; Megan and Ryan Wolfe, of McMinnville, Tn.; and numerous other great aunts, great uncles, cousins and other family and friends who loved Mazi very much.

The family would like to thank everyone for all the prayers, love, and support during Mazi’s
journey. Also, for all the donations that have been made to allow Mazi’s mother to be at his side
every step of the way. With Mazi’s passing we remind others that his life is one to be celebrated.

Although we will miss him every day, he will forever remain in our hearts.
